Grade book Display Fields - Set up
Logic for the display settings: This gives you a big picture overview of your students' information:
Start and END DATE - shows you their enrollment dates - you need to monitor end dates
Status: To know if the student is active or expired (expired means they are 14 days past the end date - you will need to “show inactive enrollments in order to submit their final grade”
last login allows you to see their activity or lack thereof,
minutes allows you to see the time it takes them,
pace (behind, on or ahead),
performance,
IEP accommodations, etc.
You can click on a student’s name to as well for greater detail.
Step 1 - Select the grade book and it opens to this view: Go to the gear and click.
Step 2 Now, you are in Display options - click all the required boxes you see in the next two (2) slides. You can click additional fields if you want to see them displayed from your gradebook too.
You can also select, “Show Inactive Enrollments” to see all students who have completed the course.
Step 3 - finish selecting fields and click SAVE.
People Display Options - Go to the “gear” and then select the visible columns you wish to see if your people screen.
Next, click on the “Weights” tab, and follow directions below. Since we are hiding the semester exam as a standard, you need to redistribute the exam weight % to the remaining categories as shown below.
