NEW 24-25 School Year
Within 24 hours after an END DATE or a Grade_Out Request submit the FINAL GRADE
First: Grade all submitted work, issue the participation grade, and then submit the final grade.
*Example: End date is a Friday - final grades are due on Monday. Typically, our Partner has to have grades submitted on Tuesday morning to give to the administration.
Check the end dates, grade all submitted work, then “Go to Final Grades” and SUBMIT, by checking ✅ students on the left who you want to submit. Review the final grade, then click “Submit Selected” on the bottom right of the page. A green check mark indicates that the final grade has been submitted.
Then, submit the Final Grade. I (admin) look for the green check mark which means you have issued the final grade and I can mark the enrollment complete.
If you ever need to see the student’s grades after it has been submitted, then go to your grade book display (gear) and click “Show inactive enrollments” and you can see past students in your grade book.
ONE MORE STEP FOR TEACHERS:
To BULK COMPLETE the student enrollment in Maestro:
Go to the Enrollments tab.
Select students by checking the box of the student with the grade out status
Ensure these are the students whose final grade you submitted in Buzz the day/night before.
Go to the hamburger menu and select the bulk action: “complete enrollments”
After selecting “Complete Enrollments”, click the action button “Complete Enrollment” at the bottom of the pop-up.
